Job Description

We are seeking an organized, dependable, and people-focused part-time HR Assistant to provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and occasional assistance with payroll-related activities.  

This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, employee records, training coordination, benefits administration, employee engagement, and payroll support. Responsibilities include scheduling interviews, preparing new-hire materials, maintaining HR files, creating reports and correspondence, supporting employee events, and protecting confidential information.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates.
• Prepare onboarding and orientation materials for new employees.
• Maintain employee files, training records, and HR documentation.
• Support employee events, training sessions, and engagement activities.
• Prepare letters, reports, spreadsheets, forms, and presentations.
• Distribute policies, benefits information, and employee communications.
• Provide occasional administrative support for payroll-related activities.
• Assist employees with general questions and refer sensitive matters to Human Resources.
• Protect confidential employee and company information.
• Assist with additional HR projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
• Dependable attendance, professionalism, and consistent follow-through.
• Administrative, receptionist, office support, or customer service experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Previous HR experience is not required. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and build a foundation for a career in Human Resources.
