Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee hotel renovation and commercial construction projects across the United States. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys leading active jobsites, coordinating multiple trades, and delivering high-quality renovation projects on schedule.

The Traveling Construction Superintendent will manage daily field operations, subcontractors, schedules, safety, materials, and project communication from start to finish. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee hotel renovation and commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion.
- Manage daily jobsite activities, subcontractors, laborers, vendors, and multiple trades.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Monitor jobsite quality, resolve field issues, and coordinate solutions with project stakeholders.
- Enforce OSHA standards, jobsite safety requirements, and company quality expectations.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $75,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Travel expenses covered.
- Health insurance.
- 1 week of PTO after 1 year.
- Discretionary bonus eligibility.
- Professional growth opportunities.
- Nationwide travel required for approximately 3 to 4 weeks at a time.
- Ability to return home for a long weekend approximately every 3 to 4 weeks.
- Long weekends home do not count against PTO.
- No per diem is provided.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Oversee nationwide hotel renovation and commercial construction projects.
- Manage subcontractors, multiple trades, daily field operations, and jobsite execution.
- Maintain project schedules, coordinate resources, and communicate project updates.
- Enforce safety, quality, and construction standards throughout each project.

- 4+ years of Construction Superintendent experience.
- Strong commercial construction and renovation experience.
- Experience managing subcontractors, laborers, vendors, and multiple trades.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety requirements.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Must be willing and able to travel nationwide for 3 to 4 weeks at a time.
- Ability to work independently, solve field issues, and keep projects moving efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hotel renovation experience strongly preferred.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
- OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
- Additional relevant construction, safety, or project management certifications are a plus.
